As the founding and managing director of FND LEGAL, Liza Effendy is a highly experienced and skilled lawyer who has extensive knowledge in various areas of Law, and she has a particular interest and specialisation in Family Law and estate matters.
Liza has accumulated indispensable experience in obtaining Grants of Probate, Letters of Administration, Lasting Power of Attorney and appointment of Deputy Court Order under the Mental Capacity Act for both contentious and non-contentious matters. Liza is also a highly skilled estate planning lawyer who is recognized for her ability to tailor an estate plan to meet each client’s unique needs.

She provides a range of estate planning services, including drafting a will, creating trusts, establishing powers of attorney, and designing a comprehensive estate plan. She understands that estate planning involves more than just drafting a will or trust. She takes the time to understand her clients’ financial situation, family dynamics, and long-term goals to ensure that their estate plan is comprehensive and effective.

In addition to her expertise in Family Law litigation, Liza regularly represents clients as Lead Counsel in Criminal Defence and Civil Litigation matters and she advises clients on Real Estate and Conveyancing matters. She assists clients in navigating the complexities of property transactions (both HDB and private properties), including property ownership, transfer of matrimonial homes in divorce cases, refinancing or redemption.

Liza is well-versed in the legal frameworks and regulations governing Real Estate and Conveyancing matters and helps clients to make informed decisions that protect their interests. Liza has represented clients from various backgrounds and walks of life, resolving cases in a professional and efficient manner, and her fees are transparent with no hidden charges.
